Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum

Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum in Nanjing,designed by Lv Yanzhi, is the final resting place, the great forerunner of theChinese democratic revolution. On March 12, 1925when Dr. Sun passedaway in Beijing, the Central Committee of the KMT began to have this mausoleumconstructed at Mount Zijin in the eastern suburb of Nanjing in accordance with Dr. Sun’s wishes.
